Product Lifecycle Status

Summary​

HR Suit is currently represented as RC1 in the reviewed repository. Its technical architecture is in an incremental service-extraction stage, so release stage and component maturity must be evaluated separately.

Overview​

“RC1” identifies a release-candidate stage; it does not make every repository component production-complete. The active solution contains components at different maturity levels:

  • Implemented components have substantial executable behavior but still require release, environment, and acceptance validation.
  • Transitional components participate in an active monolith-to-service migration or coexistence model.
  • Foundation components establish a usable boundary or technical pattern without asserting complete breadth.
  • Planned components are skeletons or future boundaries and must not be presented as delivered capabilities.

Architectural transition​

The monolith remains an active runtime and system of record for routes not cut over to extracted services. The gateway can direct selected traffic to either the monolith or an extracted service. This enables incremental validation and rollback without describing the monolith as deprecated.

Release readiness therefore depends on more than source presence. It requires human confirmation of deployed configuration, migration state, integration dependencies, security review, test evidence, and operational readiness for the target environment.

Documentation lifecycle​

All Epic 1 pages are drafts. They document confirmed structure and public-safe behavior, but they are not a substitute for:

  • Product acceptance criteria and signed release scope.
  • Environment-specific deployment verification.
  • Module-level functional documentation.
  • Restricted security and operations procedures.
  • API and data-contract reference generated from an approved release.
