Every canonical mutation records audit and timeline evidence in the same unit of work; compatibility mutations record audit and selected timeline evidence.

Overview​

Audit records capture action and actor context. Timeline records capture business milestones. Appraisal review records preserve stage-specific reviewer, result, comments, and time.

Confirmed business behavior​

Cycle create/open/close, appraisal creation, goals, reviews, approval, reopening, Workflow outcomes, and compatibility save/delete create source-defined evidence. Read surfaces expose recent audit and timeline records.

Business rules​

Actor falls back to a system label when user email is absent. Retention, immutability policy, access scope, export, and legal hold are not established by the business source.

Maturity​

The capability is Transitional because canonical staged behavior coexists with compatibility behavior and incomplete authorization governance.
