Employee Onboarding
Verified process
Only an Accepted offer can move to onboarding. Repeating that action reuses an existing non-cancelled record. The extracted service also supports joining a candidate by locating the latest accepted offer. A completed record is terminal and cannot return to another status.
Joining and initial profile
The onboarding record carries candidate and offer links, joining date, role, notes, optional reporting-manager reference, created Employee references, login-pending evidence, and completion time. Completion synchronously attempts Employee provisioning and moves the candidate to Joined only after success.
The current UI requires employee code, login email, joining date, department, designation, and a positive annual amount for Direct mode or hourly rate for Hourly mode. It also collects phone, employment type, manager, role, temporary credential entry, bank details, tax/identity values, address, notes, and a documents-submitted checkbox.

The gateway can select either owner. UI field presence is therefore not proof that every value reaches the Employee record.
Notifications and workflow
Accepted-offer and onboarding lifecycle events exist in Recruitment. The inspected Notification service does not consume Recruitment onboarding events. No onboarding-owned Workflow service instance or approval was found. Offer approval belongs to Recruitment offer management, not onboarding completion.
Current limitations
No automated IT provisioning, asset allocation, checklist gate, document verification, payroll activation, attendance activation, leave-balance setup, manager approval, employee onboarding portal, cancellation UI, or completion notification is confirmed.
