Attendance Calculation

Summary​

Calculation normalizes entered or punched time against effective attendance context and produces a daily business outcome.

Audience​

Employees, managers, HR, attendance and payroll administrators, analysts, product owners, and QA engineers.

Calculation sequence​

Weekly-off validation is confirmed for manual entry. Holiday and approved-leave context is coordinated outside the Attendance Service and is not a confirmed calculator input. Approval and reopen approval recalculate canonical values. Numeric formulas, rates, thresholds, and tenant values are intentionally omitted. Break deductions and business rounding rules require confirmation.
